Dr. Tony Giordano
Dr. Giordano has been practicing podiatric medicine/foot and ankle surgery since 2003. After working a group practice for several years in the New Baltimore area, he opened up a private practice in Shelby Township in 2006, and eventually partnered with his friend and colleague Dr. Ron Martin.
Dr. Giordano graduated from the Temple University College of Podiatric Medicine in 1999, followed by four years of surgical residency in Providence, Rhode Island and Wayne, Michigan in the Oakwood Healthcare System. He received advanced training in the surgery of traumatic injuries while training in the Oakwood system.
Dr. Giordano is actively involved in academics, and has several papers published in foot/ankle surgical literature. He continues to perform research with several residency programs in the area. He is involved with the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association as the co-chair of the Conference Committee.
On a more personal note, he spends most of his time with his beautiful wife Maryann, and their chocolate Labrador retriever. He is a dedicated musician, starting with piano lessons at the age of six. He now plays four instruments and is involved with a local band.
Dr. Ron Martin
Dr. Ronald Martin received his Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University. He obtained his medical training at the Dr. William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. Dr. Martin then completed an extensive residency program at Kern Hospital in Warren, Michigan where he was trained in complicated foot and ankle surgery, including diabetic ‘Charcot’ reconstruction. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Martin specializes in minimally invasive surgery and he takes pride in his success addressing the most difficult cases.
