Great Lakes Counseling Centers is a private, for profit clinical practice and local resource, serving the behavioral health needs of our communities. Utilizing a best practice approach, clinical personnel work to reduce or eliminate distressful and debilitating symptoms and to improve social, educational, and or occupational role functioning. Best clinical practices are based on research, evidenced-based guidelines, expert consensus, and published clinical practice guidelines.
Great Lakes Counseling was established in 2011. New technologies and higher standards have been implemented for staff recruitment and sustainment, delivery of clinical services, and business operations. Behavioral health and substance use disorder services are provided through 2 outpatient clinic locations and 1 residential sober living home. Persons served include children and adolescents, adults, families and older adults.
Levels of Care
- Outpatient – Routine care, typically 1 session per week for persons with mild or moderate mental and behavioral health conditions, substance use disorders, dual diagnoses
- Intensive Outpatient – 2 to 4 times weekly outpatient sessions for persons with severe non-emergent substance use disorder, dual diagnoses, or behavioral and mental health conditions
- Residential – 24 hour residential program for person with severe non-emergent substance use disorders, dual diagnoses
Great Lakes Counseling Centers employ diverse and highly skilled, licensed and or certified, clinical staff with a reputation for providing high-quality care to the community. Our professional staff include:

Hours of Operations
7am to 9pm, 7 days a week. Afterhours contacts are arranged with the primary treating clinician.
