Antonio Morreale III, M.D.

Antonio Morreale III, M.D. earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Kalamazoo College. He obtained his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. He has been in private practice for 25 years. His interests range from acute illnesses, health maintenance to disease prevention. For over 15 years he was also an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Wayne State University.

Dr. Morreale spends his free time with his lovely wife and three wonderful children.

Thomas Piazza, M.D.

Dr. Piazza has been practicing internal medicine and pediatrics in the Detroit and the surrounding area since 1987. His goal is to provide expert primary care in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. Patients comment on how thorough Dr. Piazza is and love leaving with a written plan and explanation with each visit.

Dr. Piazza is a graduate of the University of Michigan and received his medical degree at Wayne State. His residence training was at the Detroit Medical Center and St. John Hospital. He holds certifications in pediatrics and internal medicine. For ten years after training he enjoyed teaching and research, and now devotes his energies to clinical medicine. Dr. Piazza values working with people of all ages, and has special interest in respiratory conditions and sports medicine. His most redeeming feature is how he treats each person with respect and understanding, and will make you feel that you have a medical home at Associated Internists of Macomb.

Ronald Pierskalla, M.D.

Dr. Pierskalla has been practicing internal medicine in Macomb County since 1991. He strives to prevent illness, providing comprehensive care for teenage and adult patients. He prides himself on being a good listener and a caring physician.

After graduating from Anchor Bay High School, Dr. Pierskalla recieved a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan and subsequently, his medical degree from Wayne State University. He did his residency training at St. John Hospital in Detroit and has enjoyed teaching the residents and medical students at the hospital. Dr. Pierskalla is board certified in internal medicine.

not straying far from his roots, Dr. Pierskalla has lived in Macomb County his entire life. He is married to a wonderful woman and has two beautiful daughters. He enjoys family trips up north at the cottage. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, golf and almost any sporting event. It is his down to earth personality that makes Dr. Pierskalla a special primary care physician.

Steven Taormina, D.O.

Dr. Taormina has been practicing Internal Medicine since 1996. He specializes in prevention and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. Dr. Taormina is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and has special interests in hypertension, diabetes and preventative care.

After graduating from Adrian College, Dr. Taormina finished medical school at Michigan State University and completed residency at St. John Hospital.

Grant A. Lange, D.O.

Dr. Lange graduated from Michigan State University – College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2000. His internship and residency were completed with the St. John Health System and Mt. Clemens Regional Medical Center. He is on staff at McLaren Macomb and Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. Dr. Lange is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and has special interests in diabetes, hypertension and arthritis.

Dr. Lange has two children, Jonas and Grace. He grew up in Shelby Township and returned to the area to practice medicine after several years in Cadillac, Michigan.

Dr. Lange is accepting new patients and accepts most health insurance plans.

Bill Clarion, M.D.

Dr. Carion graduated from Wayne State University undergraduate and Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at St. John Hospital and Medical Center. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.  Dr. Carion has clinical interests in prevention, diabetes and cardiovascular medicine.

Klaudia Plawny-Lebenbom, M.D.

Dr. Klaudia Plawny-Lebenbom graduated with honors from the prestigious Jagiellonian University Medical College. She completed her residency with Michigan State University Associated Hospitals where she was chief resident. She began her career in a private practice, and later practiced with such hospitals as Henry Ford, St. John, St. John Macomb and Beaumont Hospital.  Currently, she is a member of the Henry Ford Health System.  Dr. Plawny’s areas of interest include Cardiology, Women Care, Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. Dr. Plawny is a governing member of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and resides in Bloomfield Township with her daughter. She is fluent in Polish, Russian and German.

Leo Toomajian, D.O.

DrToomaijanLeo Toomajian, D.O. grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from the University of Michigan and attended DesMoines University Medical School where he met his wife who is also a physician.  He completed his Residency in Cleveland, Ohio at MetroHealth Hospital affiliated with Case Western Reserve University. He and his wife have 3 children who keep them busy with their athletic activities.
