Meet The Doctors

Several dentists are available to assist patients of all ages in the areas of general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, periodontics, and orthodontics.

Dr. Patrick Latcham

Dr. Latcham has been practicing dentistry since 1981. His special interests include implant dentistry, esthetics, and TMJ treatment. Dr. Latcham has extensive training in the use of the laser for periodontal treatments and the one-day crown CEREC system.

A graduate of the University of Detroit High School, Dr. Latcham attended Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio before attending the University of Detroit Dental School, where he received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. He earned a prestigious Fellowship Award in the Academy of General Dentistry, acquired through his demonstrated commitment to continuing education and excellence.
Dr. Latcham’s evaluative research reports for Clinical Research Associates have been distributed to thousands of dentists worldwide.

Dr. Paul Van Walleghem

Dr. Van Walleghem has been practicing on the east side of metro Detroit since 1986.

He graduated from University Liggett School before attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduating from Northwestern University Dental School in 1986. He attained his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1999 and completed 500 hours of continuing education in all phases of dentistry. Since then he has completed 300 hours, concentrating on full-mouth dentistry, TMJ treatment, and orthodontics.

Dr. James W. Cox

Dr. Cox obtained a bachelor of science degree from Central Michigan University and then his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Detroit District Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Ruth Mannschreck

Dr. Mannschreck has been practicing dentistry in the Grosse Pointe area for more than 20 years. After graduating from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, she completed a general practice residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago Hospital. She has taught at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.

Dr. Mannschreck has a passion for continuing education, particularly in the areas of full mouth reconstruction, dental implants and cosmetic dentistry. She is currently working on a Certificate of Aesthetic and Contemporary Dentistry at the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Nina Bryson

Dr. Bryson earned her bachelor of science degree at Michigan State University. She continued her education and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Detroit Mercy, where she volunteered in dental outreach programs in the under-served areas of southeast Detroit.

Dr. Bryson is passionate about expanding her knowledge of the latest dental treatments through continued education courses. She also enjoys taking the time to educate her patients before, during, and after treatment to ensure they are having a comfortable experience.

Dr. Nisa Goshtasbi

Born in California, Dr. Goshtasbi grew up in Orange County and attended Irvine High School. With a passion for the sciences, Dr. Nisa attended University of California, Irvine, where she studied biology. It was during her college years that she found her love for the health-care field, volunteering at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County and conducting research at UCI School of Medicine. Her research project earned her a publication in the American Journal of Nephrology.

Dr. Goshtasbi then attended Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry – University of the Pacific, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

Dr. Mohammad Reshad, Periodontist

Dr. Reshad earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery accreditation from the Azad University in Iran and continued his education by earning a Master’s Degree in Restorative & Esthetic Dentistry at Tehran University.

Dr. Reshad practiced dentistry and served as a faculty member for several years prior to moving to the United States. He received his Periodontics and Periodontal-Prosthesis training from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania. The four-year dual specialty program combines multiple disciplines, making him adept in cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, periodontics, bone grafting, and implant dentistry. He currently serves as a clinical professor in periodontics at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.

He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osteointegration, American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and Michigan Periodontal Association.

Dr. David Bartolovic, Prosthodontist

Dr. Bartolovic is originally from Windsor, Ontario. He is a Michigan board certified prosthodontist and has been practicing dentistry in the metro Detroit area since 2004.

Dr. Bartolovic attended the University of Windsor, where he earned a bachelor of science degree with a major in biology. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2000. He went on to pursue further education at Indiana University School of Dentistry, obtaining his Prosthodontics Certificate in 2003 and a Master’s of Science Degree in Dentistry in 2005.
