Peleman is a board-certified gastroenterologist and is a Fellow in the College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association. His expertise is in all areas of GI medicine. The practice has existed for more than 30 years.

Meet The Doctors

Along with support staff, Dr. Peleman and Physician Assistant Inge Hanschu work with patients to provide exceptional care and treatment.

Rene R. Peleman, M.D.

Dr. Peleman was born in Michigan, attended Wayne State Medical School, and went on to a GI Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. The practice focuses on all areas of gastroenterology, and his more than 20 years of experience have made him a leader in the treatment of liver disease and Crohn’s disease.

Inge Hanschu, P.A.-C

Physician Assistant Inge Hanschu assists Dr. Peleman in providing gastroenterology patients with compassionate, personalized care. She has an extensive background in GI and attended the University of Detroit-Mercy Physician Assistant Program. She has been working in gastroenterology for more than eight years.
